Kenya/Somali refugees. A group of Somali refugees transported by IOM, UNHCR and Unicef from near the Kenya/Somalia border to the reception center at Ifo camp in Dadaab, Kenya. They were part of a transport of vulnerable refugees to the camp. The corridor between the border and the refugee camps is dangerous. Many refugees have told of being robbed, beaten or raped while walking the 80 km stretch of desert to the camp. UNHCR/ Brendan Bannon/ August 2011
