The view from the windows of State House building in Hargeysa Somaliland. The building was destroyed during Somalia's civil war. When Somalia's dictator Said Barre fell people returned to the destroyed city of Hargeysa from refugee camps in neigboring Ethiopia. Those with out homes settled here in the shell of the once grand manor or in its gardens. !7 years later many stil live here. they are joined by recent refugees from the fighting that rages daily in Mogadishu.
