Nyori refugee camp in South Sudan. June 2009. 6,000 people have fled to this camp since the LRA began attacking villages in Congo, kidnapping children and killing people.
The LRA has been attacking villages in Congo since late 2008 and kidnapping children as young as 5 years old. The boys serve as porters or soldiers in training and the girls are given to LRA soldiers as "wives".
