Mary Keitany, who is preparing to defend her 2011 London Marathon title, is one of a small band of Kenya's elite marathon runners, training in the countryside around Iten, the high-altitude town in western Kenya that has become the centre of long-distance running for hundreds of amateur and professional athletes. Keitany is running with her pace-setter Justus Kipkogei.
