Kenya's Revolution in Running

A group of Kenyan runners begin their 18 kilometer morning run in the high altitude town of Iten, Kenya. Perched at 7800 feet atop the Rift Valley escarpment in western Kenya the town is home to generations of international track and road running champions. Kenya's marathon runners regularly win major international competitions and hold world records and track records. It is here that the revolution in marathon running has been taking place since 2009.
